Education is at the heart of the Church’s mission, shaping students in faith, knowledge, and values that last a lifetime. You can help to ensure that Catholic education remains accessible, excellent, and rooted in faith for the future Catholic leaders of tomorrow.
The Champions of Catholic Education Endowment is a permanent fund that generates annual financial support for Catholic education within the Diocese of Lafayette. The principal of the fund is carefully invested, and a portion of the earnings is distributed annually to address the needs of Catholic schools and catechism programs, including needs-based tuition assistance, professional educator development, technology and multi-media support as well as religious education initiatives.
Directing Contributions to Specific Schools
While each Catholic school in the Diocese of Lafayette manages its own budget, nearly all offer needs-based tuition assistance to families seeking help. If you wish to direct your contribution to a specific school for tuition assistance, please contact the school’s principal or development director.

How it Works
Designate a Planned Gift
Include the CLFA Champions of Catholic Schools Education Endowment in your will, charitable gift annuity, or by naming CLFA and the fund as a beneficiary in your IRA, life insurance policy, or other gift.
